At the opening ceremony of ITCPE Vietnam Texprint 2023, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) said: In 2023, the Vietnamese textile and garment industry will face many difficulties and challenges when the total export turnover in the first 8 months of 2023 is estimated at 26.2 billion USD, down 16.4% compared to the same period in 2022. The total export turnover of textiles and garments in 2023 is expected to reach about 39.5 - 40 billion USD.

However, textiles and garments are still considered an industry with many development opportunities due to Vietnam's participation in a series of free trade agreements and the shift in the global textile and garment supply chain... To promote and seize opportunities, textile and garment enterprises need to increase joint ventures and associations, call for investment, promote training, improve skills and attract workers, improve quality management, labor, environment, and perfect the textile and garment supply chain according to international standards.

In that context, the international exhibition of equipment, printing and embroidery technology, textile products and accessories in Vietnam 2023 meets the urgent needs of textile and garment enterprises in the current period. This is a favorable time for domestic and foreign enterprises to seek partners, orders, and strengthen investment and business cooperation relationships in the supply chain.

The exhibition helps businesses in the fields of weaving, dyeing, printing, fabric production, textile accessories and apparel to learn about new and modern printing technologies; meet and exchange experiences with domestic and international experts; create conditions, promote and introduce the brand and products of the unit, thereby having an orientation to invest in machinery and equipment technology, increase the added value of products, meet the needs and goals of green and sustainable development of the Vietnamese textile and garment industry.
