Exhibition "August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the historical milestone of 60 years of the First Victory on August 5, 1964"

To celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and the 60th anniversary of the victory of the first battle on August 2 and 5 (1964-2024), on the morning of August 30, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Museum coordinated with the Air Defense - Air Force Museum to organize a thematic exhibition "August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the historical milestone of 60 years of victory of the first battle on August 5, 1964".

The exhibition has two main parts: "The Party leads the August Revolution - President Ho Chi Minh reads the "Declaration of Independence" on September 2, 1945"; "Quang Ninh - Historical milestone of the August Revolution; National Day on September 2, 1945 and the resounding victory of the first battle on August 5, 1964".

Through 134 photos, documentary films and 35 exhibits, the exhibition contributes to widespread propaganda, making cadres, party members and people of all walks of life fully and deeply aware of the victory of the August Revolution; at the same time, affirming the stature of the times, the historical significance of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; propagating the great victories in the cause of national liberation, national reunification, as well as in building, developing the country and fulfilling noble international obligations; affirming the great contributions and contributions of our entire Party, people and army and the valuable help of international friends over the past 79 years.

The exhibition also arouses and fosters confidence, creates an exciting atmosphere to promote patriotic emulation movements towards the 5th Quang Ninh Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, welcoming Party Congresses at all levels towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030).

The exhibition contributes to propagating patriotism and revolutionary traditions to the masses, especially the young generation, arousing national pride and self-esteem, determination to stand firm under the Party flag, successfully carrying out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, thereby strengthening the trust and pride in the Party and the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese people in general and the Party Committee of Quang Ninh province in particular.
