Today, March 14, in Dong Ha City, the Emulation Cluster of the North Central provinces held a conference to summarize the emulation work in 2023. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Quang Tri province, Head of the Emulation Cluster of the North Central provinces in 2023 Vo Van Hung chaired the conference. Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung emphasized that in 2023, the provinces in the cluster promptly implemented the central government's directives on emulation movements and commendation work.

The state management of emulation and rewards has been carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations. Many documents have been issued to direct and guide the synchronous and unified implementation of regulations on emulation and rewards. Party committees and authorities at all levels have paid attention to directing and organizing implementation, with many innovations, creativity and effectiveness in implementing emulation movements launched by the Government and provinces.
Specifically, the effective implementation of the emulation movements "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor, no one is left behind", "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to implement office culture", "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste", "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promoting lifelong learning in the period of 2023-2030" has brought about remarkable results, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security of the region.
The basic activities of the emulation cluster are implemented in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the central government, from developing the cluster's operation plan, developing emulation criteria, emulation covenants... contributing significantly to orienting the activities for emulation and rewarding the provinces in the cluster to achieve high efficiency.
The commendation work is carried out in accordance with regulations, promptly serving local political tasks. The provinces have paid more attention to commending small groups, people directly involved in labor, production, work and cases with outstanding and outstanding achievements.
From the emulation movements, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were discovered, many advanced models were honored and exemplified. The emulation movements have truly become a spiritual driving force, promoting the successful completion of socio-economic development targets and the successful completion of assigned political tasks.
In 2024, the North Central Provinces Emulation Cluster will continue to focus on implementing key tasks: Effectively implement Directive No. 34 CT/TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and reward work to improve the quality of emulation and reward work in the coming time. Strengthen exchange activities, learn from experiences, creative ways of doing things, new models, and typical examples in emulation movements between provinces in the cluster and clusters nationwide.
Launch practical and effective emulation movements to successfully implement the socio-economic development targets and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, thereby having specific plans and programs.
Improve the quality of activities of emulation and reward councils, science and innovation councils at all levels, do a good job of advising Party committees, authorities and leaders in reward work to create positive influences in the community.
Effectively implement the project "Propaganda of typical advanced models for the period 2022-2025" according to Decision No. 1526/QD-TTg dated December 9, 2022 of the Prime Minister. Strengthen coordination between levels, sectors and media agencies in discovering, introducing and replicating typical advanced models, promptly propagating good people, good deeds, new models, new factors, good and effective practices to replicate, spread in the community and commend at the provincial patriotic emulation congress in 2025.
In his speech, Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Phan Huy Giang requested that the provinces in the cluster continue to organize, launch and implement emulation movements more effectively to contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic development targets and tasks; promote emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister. Strengthen the role of members of the emulation and reward council in guiding, urging, inspecting and supervising.
The conference conducted emulation evaluation and honored Ha Tinh province to propose the Government to award the emulation flag; Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces proposed the Prime Minister to award certificates of merit. At the same time, Thua Thien Hue province was introduced as the cluster leader and Ha Tinh province as the deputy cluster leader in 2024 to propose the Central Emulation and Reward Council to decide; discussed, agreed on the content and signed the emulation covenant in 2024.
