On the afternoon of February 28, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) held a national conference to deploy organizational and personnel work and inspection and supervision work in 2024. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the VGCL; Huynh Thanh Xuan, Vice President of the VGCL.

The conference was held live from the Trade Union Conference Center in Hanoi and connected to 82 Labor Federations of provinces, cities, Central Industry Trade Unions and Corporations under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Speaking at the conference, regarding the content of organizational and personnel work, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized: The most important task in the coming time for trade unions at all levels is to continue preparing to implement the action program to implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; in which, the key and continuous task of the entire term is to focus on the program and plan for developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in 2024. Accordingly, trade unions at all levels need to focus on implementing projects and action programs to implement Resolution No. 02 of the Politburo, with the goal of building a flexible trade union organization in both organization and operation for international integration.
