Young intellectuals from Ho Chi Minh City return to the province to support new rural construction

The team of young intellectuals volunteering to participate in the construction of new rural areas in Ho Chi Minh City includes youth union members, scientists, lecturers, and students living, studying, and working in Ho Chi Minh City, who volunteered to serve the community and improve the quality of people's lives. Of these, there are 50 regular soldiers and 120 specialized soldiers.

Volunteers receive personal belongings before leaving for the task of building new rural areas.

Present in Dong Thap province are 5 teams supporting agricultural development consulting, social practice skills consulting for youth, administrative procedure reform support, community digital transformation and health care.

These teams carry out practical activities such as organizing the "Technology Bus" tour and experience program; consulting on administrative procedure reform in the locality; propagating and guiding people to use cashless online payments; organizing health check-ups and providing free medicine for the elderly and children in the area, etc.

In Thap Muoi district (Dong Thap), soldiers donated 300 trees to schools; transferred 2,000 sea ducks and provided technical guidance to farmers and young people doing business.

Young scientific intellectual volunteers in Ho Chi Minh City will have 15 days of activities in the locality.

In addition, volunteers will continue to implement the program "Old Computers - New Knowledge" to repair and donate old computers to support learning for disadvantaged students; provide advice on safe network usage to prevent high-tech crimes, etc.
