Speaking at the opening of the seminar, Mr. Phan Thanh Nam - Chairman of the Journalists Association of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Culture Newspaper shared that, as secretaries of the times, over the past century, generations of Vietnamese journalists have together written proud pages of history of the country's revolutionary journalism.
Vietnam Journalism Museum - the heritage home of generations of journalists, where over 35 thousand documents and artifacts from different periods of Vietnamese journalism are preserved and displayed, has become an attractive destination for many central and local press agencies and many generations of journalists nationwide since its establishment.

Mr. Phan Thanh Nam was moved to say that, bowing to commemorate the journalists-martyrs, the Exchange, Discussion and Gratitude program with the theme "Color of Memory" is a meaningful activity jointly organized by officials and journalists from the Journalists Association of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Journalism Museum ( Vietnam Journalists Association ). In the program, stories with beautiful and proud memories will be shared by speakers and guests.
"Through this event, we hope to send a meaningful message to today's generation of writers. The color of memory has the red color of the blood of our ancestors who sacrificed and devoted themselves. The color of memory has the blue color of hope, adding faith and strength to the younger generation, including contemporary journalists. The color of memory is also a tribute to the indomitable sacrifices of journalists and war correspondents who have devoted themselves to the cause of revolutionary journalism in Vietnam," said Mr. Phan Thanh Nam.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa - Head of the Vietnam Journalism Museum said that among the more than 35 thousand documents and artifacts at the Museum, there are documents and artifacts that, although stained by time, are eternal memories of the first generations of journalists of the Vietnamese press. In particular, there are many priceless documents and artifacts of journalists - soldiers who fought on the battlefield, amidst the rain of bombs and bullets, many of whom shed blood and sacrificed their lives on the way to bring information and images to readers.
These are not only immeasurable assets that the Vietnam Press Museum has painstakingly collected, preserved, and displayed, but also valuable messages, examples for today's generations of journalists to be grateful for, reflect on, and remind themselves on their journey of work. To obtain these priceless documents and artifacts, the staff of the Vietnam Press Museum have gone through a difficult journey, often a race against time.
Journalist Tran Van Hien recounts touching stories of martyr journalists.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa, more than anyone else, every Museum staff member understands that the invaluable assets left by previous generations of journalists are fading away day by day, and if we do not do so in time, we will not be able to find them again. In order to obtain articles, pens, notebooks, cameras, camcorders... which are the relics left by the journalists-martyrs, the Museum staff members have not been afraid of difficulties and hardships, and are ready to set off as soon as they have information about the artifacts.
"The special highlight in the museum's exhibition space is the memorial area for martyr journalists, where we respectfully pay tribute and remember the brave writers who did not spare their blood and bones, did not hesitate to sacrifice to devote themselves and contribute, contributing to creating a solid and proud foundation for the development of national journalism. The memorial area is designed with glass walls joined together with the main red color, engraved with the names and agencies of martyr journalists from before 1945 to the present," Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa emotionally shared.

During the program, stories of beautiful and proud memories were shared by speakers and guests. These were discussions about the profession from journalist Ho Quang Loi - former Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and currently Vice President of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association. These were touching stories from journalist Tran Van Hien - former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Vice President of the Nghe An Journalists Association, who has spent 15 years tirelessly searching for the identities of 511 colleagues who were martyrs. Journalist Tran Van Hien is also known by many people for his poem "Please don't call me an anonymous martyr".
Guests, delegates, reporters and journalists met and talked with the family of Journalist and Lawyer Phan Tu Ky - a martyr who died in 1972 in Quang Tri.
Also within the framework of the event, journalist Phan Duy Huong donated to the Vietnam Press Museum 01 notebook, some photo documents and 05 books: "Warfield letters and pictures with fire; journalist Tran Van Hien - former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper donated to the Museum 02 books "Nguyen Ai Quoc - Journalist without card" and "Standing under the bomb range" along with a number of other donated artifacts.

Moved when receiving the valuable artifacts, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa said that when the Vietnam Press Museum was established, it received great support and encouragement from journalists, journalists' families, journalists' associations at all levels, press agencies and many press audiences across the country.
"The Vietnam Press Museum would like to express our deep respect and gratitude for those valuable shares, and promise to preserve and widely introduce these heritages to the public at home and abroad," the Head of the Vietnam Press Museum emphasized.
