Emphasizing specific tasks in the coming time, the Prime Minister stated that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment needs to actively research and absorb opinions from people, businesses, scientists, experts, and practitioners to work with relevant agencies to continue perfecting the draft Land Law (amended) according to Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 of the 13th Party Central Committee on "Continuing to innovate and perfect institutions and policies, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of land management and use, creating momentum to turn our country into a high-income developed country"; at the same time, continue to build and perfect other draft laws such as the draft Law on Water Resources (amended)...

Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh was born in 1976 in Ha Tinh; he has held the following positions: Director of the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh, Secretary of the Nghi Xuan District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province. From June 2019 to present, he has been the Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee. He is an alternate member of the 12th Party Central Committee, and a member of the 13th Party Central Committee.
On the afternoon of May 22, at the 5th session, the 15th National Assembly passed a resolution approving the appointment of Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term, replacing Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, who is currently holding the position. Immediately afterwards, the President issued Decision No. 525/2023/QD-CTN dated May 22, 2023, appointing Dang Quoc Khanh as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
