This afternoon, December 26, in Dong Ha City, the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the 10th Quang Tri Provincial Technical Innovation Contest (2022 - 2023). Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Technical Innovation Contest Le Duc Tien attended.

After 2 years of launching, the contest received a total of 85 entries, of which 26 solutions and topics were selected for awards, including 2 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes and 16 Encouragement prizes. Second prizes were awarded to the topics: "Research and application of artificial intelligence to detect risks of power grid safety from images/videos collected by DRONE/UAV from flight missions" by a group of authors from Quang Tri Electricity Company; "Automatically reset the IP CASSETTE image receiver after each shooting position of the mammography system" by a group of authors from the Provincial General Hospital. The Organizing Committee awarded certificates to the winning works, and selected 5 quality topics and solutions to participate in the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest (2022 - 2023).

Speaking at the award ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien highly appreciated the quality of the topics and solutions in this competition. Many initiatives and solutions have demonstrated their novelty and creativity, have been and are being applied very effectively, improving productivity, quality and having practical applications serving life and socio-economic development.

Through the contest, authors/groups of authors have contributed their efforts and intelligence to research, improving the quality of work and study, creating many creative, practical and useful products serving production and life, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks of each sector, locality and the whole province in the new period.
