Awarding the Certificate of Merit to the relatives of martyr Nguyen Trong Hoa

Representative of martyr Nguyen Trong Hoa's family received the certificate of national merit

On October 1, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1059/QD-TTg on granting the Certificate of Merit to martyr Nguyen Trong Hoa. This is a recognition of the great contributions and sacrifices of comrade Nguyen Trong Hoa to the cause of national liberation, national defense and international duty.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Hoa was born in 1947, in Dong Hao village, Quang Minh commune. In September 1965, Comrade Hoa volunteered to join the army, participating in combat in the Southern and Lower Laos battlefields. During his studies and work at Company 3, Battalion 1, Regiment 98, he always voluntarily trained and fought, excellently completing all assigned tasks, and was awarded the rank of Sergeant and the position of Squad Leader by the Unit Commander.

Many relatives and neighbors attended the ceremony to award the certificate of merit to the martyr.

On November 1, 1967, during the fighting, enemy planes bombed, comrade Nguyen Trong Hoa and his unit fought bravely and sacrificed. His comrades and unit engraved a stele number 68 on him and buried him in Lower Laos. Because the unit continued to carry out arduous, fierce fighting missions, with a large number of casualties and sacrifices, only now do the authorities have enough information to establish a profile and propose recognition as a martyr for comrade Nguyen Trong Hoa.
