"Walking across Tuvalu takes less time than it does to get from the parking lot to Target," Emily excitedly shared in the video.

The tiny island nation is the Criders' 183rd stop on their globe-trotting itinerary, which includes 195 countries and territories.

According to Wanderlust , Tuvalu is one of the least visited countries in the world. With an area of only about 26 square kilometers, this remote land is currently home to about 12,000 people.

Interestingly, some areas in Tuvalu are only about 20m wide. That's why the American tourist couple was able to cross the island nation in less than a minute.

"The people here are extremely friendly. The scenery is also very beautiful," Emily shared.

The island only receives about 3,000 visitors a year. Locals often use the airport area as a public park, playing soccer, volleyball or even riding motorbikes on the runway.

Those who come here will have the opportunity to experience extremely special activities such as: Go cave diving and discover evidence of human life from more than 8,000 years ago; Admire Tuvalu's huge collection of postage stamps; Watch locals play traditional games or rent a scooter and get lost in the most untouched lands of the world.
