The Ba Che district OCOP product classification and evaluation council has just held a meeting to evaluate and classify OCOP products in the district.

At the meeting, the OCOP product classification and evaluation council of the district evaluated and classified the Ba Che Ba Kich Tea product produced by Thanh Nam Hai Trade - Service Cooperative located in Lang Da village, Thanh Lam commune in coordination with a number of units inside and outside the district.

Ba Che District has long been known as a land rich in natural resources endowed with many precious medicinal herbs; has a fresh climate, fertile soil and is especially suitable for growing precious medicinal herbs, including the famous purple Morinda officinalis, known as a medicinal herb with the effect of enhancing vitality and health with outstanding quality thanks to special soil conditions.

Realizing the increasing demand for health-supporting products from herbal medicine, especially from Ba Kich, Thanh Nam Hai Trading-Service Cooperative has developed Ba Kich Ba Che Tea with the desire to bring consumers a drink that is both nutritious and convenient for daily health care.

The product is processed from 100% purple Ba Kich tubers grown in the district; the product is manufactured and packaged into tea bags, weighing 2g/package, the box has a net output of about 40g; beautiful packaging and design...

With a serious working spirit, the OCOP product classification evaluation council of Ba Che district conducted an evaluation by scoring with a scale of 100 points for the product, including 3 steps: Product and community strength; Marketing ability and Product quality. The result of the Ba Che Ba Kich Tea product of Thanh Nam Hai Trade - Service Cooperative was evaluated by the district product classification evaluation council, scored the product, and achieved 61.2 points.

Based on the results achieved, after completing the procedures and documents, the Appraisal Council evaluated and classified the products of Ba Che district and issued a Decision to recognize Ba Che Ba Kich Tea as a 3-star OCOP product at the district level.
