Thai Nguyen City invests over 19 billion VND in advanced and model new rural communes.

According to the plan, by 2024, Thai Nguyen City strives to have 7 communes reaching the advanced new rural area goal and 4 communes reaching the model new rural area goal. Up to now, the localities have basically completed the criteria, while some targets are being completed, and are expected to reach the goal according to the set plan.

To focus on investing in communes that have reached the advanced and model new rural standards, Thai Nguyen City plans to allocate 19.2 billion VND to complete the criteria. Of which, public investment capital is over 10.8 billion VND, the rest is regular expenditure.

With the above capital, Thai Nguyen City will invest more than 14 billion VND in the education sector such as: Renovation, repair, new construction, purchase of classroom equipment...; Over 3.5 billion VND to build lighting systems, traffic roads. For the cultural sector, over 1.5 billion VND will be invested to install outdoor sports equipment; repair the broadcasting system.

Up to this point, Thai Nguyen City has disbursed over 6 billion VND.
