Ho Chi Minh City requires handling of series of driving practice grounds on agricultural land

The Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document conveying the direction of Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong regarding the handling of cases of construction of driving practice grounds violating land and construction regulations in Binh Chanh District.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Binh Chanh District urgently rectifies and overcomes shortcomings in state management of land, planning and construction in the area. At the same time, organizes a review of the responsibilities of individuals and organizations involved in allowing many large-scale violations to occur but not promptly inspecting, detecting, preventing and handling them according to regulations.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders also requested Binh Chanh District to review, promptly handle and completely overcome violations within its authority, and report the results before October 20.

Meanwhile, the Department of Transport is assigned to review the licensing of business investment in car driving training services and driving testing services for 13 training and testing facilities in Binh Chanh District, and handle violations.

At the same time, advise the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on sanctions for driving training facilities in the city that violate land, planning, and construction regulations before granting licenses to invest in car driving training services and driving testing services.

According to the review results of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, there are 13 driving practice grounds in Binh Chanh. Of these, 3 cases have not yet been invested in construction, 1 case of construction that violated the license has completed the penalty decision, 6 cases of illegal construction have not been processed, 3 cases of illegal construction have been processed to be dismantled or partially dismantled.
