According to the Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training, after reviewing the 2024 grade 10 exam scores, candidates can request a review of their exam from June 21 to 24. The review will be completed before June 30.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also said: No later than 4:00 p.m. on June 24, the department will announce the admission scores for specialized 10th grade, integrated 10th grade, and direct admission results.

It is expected that on July 10, the department will announce the admission scores for grade 10 and the list of candidates admitted to grade 10 for the 2024-2025 school year.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the total number of candidates registered for the 10th grade entrance exam this year is 98,681.

In literature, 98,418 candidates came to take the exam, 263 were absent. In foreign language, 98,375 candidates took the exam, 306 were absent. In math, 98,361 candidates took the exam, 320 were absent. In the specialized exam, 7,574 candidates were present, 50 were absent.

There were two cases of female students who brought their phones into the exam room under their skirts and were discovered by the invigilators and recorded. These phones were sent to the Internal Political Security Department for inspection and no signs of leaking or leaking the exam papers were found.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training decided to increase the enrollment quota for grade 10 at 62 public high schools by 5,535. The total enrollment quota for grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year in Ho Chi Minh City is: 77,355 students (the initial quota was 71,820 students).

Grade 10 math exam scores are not low

According to the 2024 10th grade exam marking council in Ho Chi Minh City, this year's math score distribution is quite good.

There were 49 candidates who scored 10 points, 31 candidates who scored 9.75 points in math in the 10th grade entrance exam in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, there were 132 candidates who scored 9.5 points; 123 candidates who scored 9.25 points. The number of candidates who scored from 8 to 9 points was quite large, nearly 2,000 candidates.

It is known that in this year's 10th grade entrance exam season in Ho Chi Minh City, the math exam received mixed opinions about its difficulty level.

However, the exam results show that: 5 points is the score that most candidates achieved in math in this year's 10th grade entrance exam season: more than 7,000 candidates.
