Accordingly, the Draft Resolution regulating the order and procedures for investigation, survey, measurement, counting, and verification of the origin of land and assets attached to land before the competent State issues a notice of land recovery to implement projects in the area is expected to be considered and approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council at the meeting at the end of this year. It clearly states that there are 6 projects that, when implemented, need to recover land from more than 17,000 households, including:

Tam Phu residential area regulating lake park project in Tam Phu, Tam Binh and Hiep Binh Chanh wards in Thu Duc city with a scale of more than 185 hectares and 3,717 affected cases; Dredging and improving the construction environment of technical infrastructure on the north bank of Doi canal in district 8 with a scale of more than 6 hectares and 1,017 affected cases;

Urban beautification, relocation and resettlement project, improving living conditions for households living on and along the southern bank of Doi canal, with a scale of nearly 36 hectares and 5,055 cases affected; Dredging and improving the environment for building technical infrastructure of Xuyen Tam canal (from Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe canal to Vam Thuat river) through Binh Thanh and Go Vap districts with a scale of nearly 16 hectares and 1,880 cases affected;

Binh Quoi - Thanh Da urban area project (Binh Thanh district) with a scale of nearly 427 hectares and 4,579 affected cases and Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology Park project in Thu Duc city, with a scale of nearly 303 hectares and 866 affected cases.

The project of dredging and improving the technical infrastructure of Xuyen Tam canal is one of the important projects of the city.

Regarding the promotion of project implementation, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a decision to establish a Working Group to monitor the implementation of the organization of research on architectural planning ideas for a number of key projects and areas in the area.

According to the decision, the Working Group consists of 11 members, with Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai as the head; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Bui Xuan Cuong as the deputy head. The members are directors of the departments: Planning and Architecture, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Transport; Chief of the Office of the City People's Committee; Chairmen of the People's Committees of the localities: Thu Duc City, District 1, Binh Thanh District and Cu Chi District.

The task of the Working Group is to regularly interact with relevant units, provide information and data to carry out the work of organizing the competition for planning and architectural ideas at Binh Quoi - Thanh Da peninsula (Binh Thanh) and the National History and Culture Park (Thu Duc City). Continue to study planning and architectural ideas at Rach Chiec sports complex, Saigon Safari park, and landscape architectural planning for the area along the Saigon River.

At the same time, discuss and work with the Paris Regional Planning Institute to provide consultation and propose ideas for detailed planning of the area along the Saigon River and include research results in the project to adjust the general planning of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the Working Group also performs tasks assigned by the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
