New generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 launched in Vietnam market

Compared to the previous generation, the appearance of the 2024 Land Cruiser Prado is more muscular and square. The boxy body design with smooth, sharp beveled edges and grouped parts help the car have a sporty , solid and unique exterior.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has an overall length of 4,925 mm, width of 1,980 mm, height of 1,935 mm and a wheelbase of 2,850 mm.

The square front end with the hood combined with the radiator grille consists of large vertical bars painted black. The completely new rectangular LED headlights integrate adaptive automatic high beam technology. The new modern LED taillights increase recognition when viewed from behind.

The car is equipped with electric rearview mirrors with integrated heating and self-adjusting functions when reversing. The wheel rims are increased in size to 20 inches using a new design of 6 double-spoke black cast aluminum. The rear trunk door opens up instead of opening horizontally like the previous model. In addition, the hands-free trunk opening feature (kick trunk) and the rear trunk glass window can be opened separately, making it more convenient to get things in tight areas.

The interior of the Land Cruiser Prado has also been upgraded with a different design than before. The car is equipped with a 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, 4-way electric adjustment with memory position, integrating a variety of function adjustment keys such as audio, central screen or features of the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety technology package.

The functional areas of the central control cluster are arranged reasonably and conveniently. In particular, the dashboard cluster with a 12.3-inch multi-information screen with 12 customizable display modes. The entertainment screen is increased in size from 7 inches to 12.3 inches with the function of connecting to a wireless smartphone. The control keys are designed with the shape of a button, slide or rotate, suitable for each function for convenient operation while driving. The electronic rearview mirror uses a rear camera to display images of the rear of the car on the mirror, helping the driver to easily observe, especially in conditions where the rear window of the car is blocked due to carrying many items in the trunk.

In addition, the 3-zone automatic air conditioning system helps to easily adjust temperature and airflow, bringing comfort to every position.

The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado uses a completely new 2.4L gasoline engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with a maximum capacity of 267 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. In addition to 5 driving modes equipped to suit different roads, the Land Cruiser Prado also has 4 more multi-terrain driving modes, providing emotional off-road experiences.

The Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) driver assistance technology package is equipped on both versions of the new Land Cruiser Prado. The TSS package includes functions such as: Pre-collision warning (PCS), lane departure warning (LDA) and lane keeping assist (LTA), automatic high beam (AHS) and dynamic cruise control (DRCC), blind spot warning system (BSM), rear cross traffic alert system (RCTA), hill start assist system (HAC), tire pressure warning system (TPWS), 360-degree camera, 8 parking assist sensors and 8 airbags...

In particular, the safe exit support system provides warnings on the exterior rearview mirror and on the multi-information display, and emits a warning sound, making passengers more attentive if a vehicle is approaching, making opening the door and exiting the vehicle safer for both passengers and pedestrians.

In addition, the parking brake support system will give an audible warning, reduce engine power, and automatically brake when detecting static objects (front and rear) or vehicles approaching from behind the vehicle, helping to limit collisions and drive/park safely at low speeds.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is imported completely from Japan and distributed with a recommended retail price from 3.46 billion VND for the single sunroof version, the panoramic sunroof version costs 3.48 billion VND.
