On December 13, BRG Group was honored as “Top 10 sustainable enterprises operating in the field of trade and services” at the ceremony to announce sustainable enterprises in Vietnam 2023 organized by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). This is the third consecutive year that BRG Group has been honored at this important award, recognizing BRG Group's efforts and contributions to the sustainable development of the economy in recent years.

Group leaders received the award "Top 10 sustainable enterprises operating in the field of trade and services" under the CSI Program 2023

Over 30 years of construction and development, BRG Group has always taken people as the center of development, and adhered to the sustainable development strategy in building its multi-industry and multi-service economic ecosystem. BRG Group is one of the pioneers in international cooperation, understanding and grasping the trends and needs of corporate governance in the period of integration and expansion of trade between countries.

Over the years, BRG Group has always been one of the leading units in social work, gender equality and women's empowerment, ensuring the legal rights of nearly 22,000 employees nationwide, of which women account for 60%. BRG Group is also the only enterprise in Vietnam to receive the First Prize in the category "Gender equality through community participation and partnerships" at the Women's Empowerment Awards (WEPs 2021) within the framework of the Women's Economic Empowerment Program in Asia organized by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and the European Union (EU) in cooperation with the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

2023 also recorded many positive community activities of the BRG Group ecosystem such as supporting 60 billion VND to build 1,200 gratitude houses in response to the Program to mobilize and support the construction of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties of the Ministry of Public Security in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces; supporting 1 billion VND to build 50 solidarity houses in Dong Anh district, Hanoi; supporting 1 billion VND to the "Fund for the Poor" of Hanoi Capital...

In its 8th year of implementation, the Program for Evaluating and Announcing Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam 2023 (CSI 2023) continues to be implemented under the direction of the Government to recognize and commend enterprises that perform well in responsible production and business activities in all three comprehensive aspects: economy - society - environment.

This year, the CSI 2023 Corporate Sustainability Index has been completely reformed in terms of structure with 7 parts, instead of 3 parts in the old version, including 130 indicators, of which 63% are compliance indicators and 37% are advanced indicators. Each indicator is used to declare a specific content, helping businesses list and provide information more easily.

The index also deeply integrates the Law on Environmental Protection 2020, emphasizing 3 factors: carbon emission accounting, climate change adaptation and mitigation activities, and implementation of circular economic models. In addition, the CSI 2023 Sustainable Business Index continues to focus on labor - social indicators such as commitments to diversity and equality in businesses such as gender equality, women's empowerment, respect for children's rights, human rights, and flexible working regimes. These indicators are integrated smoothly and deeply to help businesses meet the requirements of new generation FTAs.
