General rehearsal of Poetry Day program in the homeland of Tam Nguyen Yen Do Nguyen Khuyen

On the afternoon of February 22, the People's Committee of Binh Luc district held a rehearsal for the Poetry Day Program in the homeland of Tam Nguyen Yen Do Nguyen Khuyen. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL), and the Ha Nam Literature and Arts Association (VHNT).

According to the Plan, the Poetry Day program in the homeland of Tam Nguyen Yen Do Nguyen Khuyen with the theme " The country's harmony - Spring colors of Bui's garden" will be held on the full moon day of the first lunar month of the year of Giap Thin 2024, i.e. February 24 in Vi Ha village, Trung Luong commune, Binh Luc district organized by the People's Committee of Binh Luc district in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

The program will include the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 115th death anniversary of poet Tam Nguyen Yen Do Nguyen Khuyen (at Nguyen Khuyen's ancestral temple); Re-enactment of the old Tet space, display of typical products and local OCOP products; Exhibition of beautiful photos of Ha Nam tourism (at Vi Ha communal house); Exhibition of Spring Newspaper and publications about poet Tam Nguyen Yen Do Nguyen Khuyen; Poetry Day program in Nguyen Khuyen's hometown; "Following Tam Nguyen's steps" contest; Performance of the cheo play "Miss Dao and Mr. Tam Nguyen" at Trung Luong Secondary School.

Implementing the direction of the Program Steering Committee, by the afternoon of February 22, the preparation work for each activity had basically been completed in terms of visual propaganda, festival decoration, rehearsal of rituals and ceremonies, script preparation, assignment of MCs for each activity... In particular, the visual propaganda and promotion work for the program was carried out enthusiastically, creating a splendid atmosphere and colors in the homeland of Tam Nguyen Yen Do...

Inspecting the preparation work for each activity taking place at 3 main locations: Trung Luong Secondary School, Nguyen Khuyen Temple, Vi Ha Communal House, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Binh Luc District Party Committee, People's Committee, and Ha Nam Literature and Arts Association highly appreciated the preparation work of the units assigned to the task according to the plan. According to the report, the activities have ensured the completion of 95% of the required content.

Speaking at the inspection, comrade Truong Cong Khai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, requested that the units coordinating the implementation of the program need to discuss and adjust the details in each activity that are not suitable, timely, ensuring the progress and requirements of the Steering Committee. The units doing the propaganda and visual promotion work for the program need to strengthen and highlight the significance of the event, considering the program as a typical cultural and artistic activity, with the meaning of educating patriotism, learning traditions, and love of literature and poetry for generations of Binh Luc people in particular, and Ha Nam in general. The activities must highlight the cultural values, educate the ideology of all classes of people, and at the same time promote and introduce the image of Binh Luc land and people to tourists and people from all over the country.

He requested that the units, departments and branches assigned to the task try to absorb the comments of the Organizing Committee during the rehearsal, quickly adjust and complete the details and work that do not meet the requirements so that the program can take place smoothly, cohesively, throughout the theme of the program to commemorate and honor the poet of the Vietnamese village landscape Tam Nguyen Yen Do Nguyen Khuyen and arouse the love of poetry for all classes of people, love for the country, the Vietnamese people and the awareness of preserving and promoting the national cultural identity in the integration process.
