Vietnam International Awards is an annual award launched in 2022 to promote the image, enhance understanding and contributions of overseas Vietnamese, and foster connections within and outside the overseas Vietnamese community in countries. The award was co-founded by Ms. Hoang Ha, Vice President of the Union of Vietnamese Women in Europe, and Ms. Nguyen Nhu Thoai, Founding President of the Association of Vietnamese Women and Children in the United Kingdom.
The third year of the Vietnam International Awards attracted nearly 200 nominations from around the world; 60 candidates were nominated for the final. The Gala Night announced 12 winners in all categories and 2 special categories for leadership achievements and lifetime dedication. The judging panel is made up of leading and prestigious experts, currently working in British government agencies and the United Nations.
The award aims to promote the image, enhance understanding and contributions of Vietnamese people abroad.
At the event, the Organizing Committee awarded the Community Ambassador Award to Ms. Quynh Nguyen, Executive Director of the Vietnamese Family Association (VFP), a charity organization that teaches Vietnamese, organizes activities to promote Vietnamese culture and provides support services to Vietnamese people in the UK.
The Creative Arts Award went to the Toucher Art Project (France), an international and intercultural project founded by musician Hoang Thu Trang. The project actively promotes Vietnamese culture globally, attracting more than 20,000 participants, raising VND250 million to support orphans and disabled children in Vietnam.
The Organizing Committee awarded the International Cooperation Alliance Award to Ms. Nguyen Thanh Nga from Romania, founder and CEO of Pamikio Fashion, a company specializing in fashion accessories and home decoration, serving more than 300 supermarkets in many countries. She is a prominent community activist, with many volunteer activities in Europe and Vietnam.
The Outstanding Restaurant Award was given to Nguyen's Sandwiches - Vietnamese Bread. Founded by Mr. Nguyen The Huynh in Sweden, this Vietnamese food restaurant chain is famous for its fresh bread made daily using traditional Vietnamese methods. They also initiated the Giant Pho Bowl competition to honor Vietnamese culinary culture abroad and received many certificates of merit from the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden.

The Outstanding Achievement in Education Award was presented to The Project Darts, a project that trains, advises and supports Vietnamese students in the UK in their career development.
Kevin Nguyen, an eighth-grader from Nantes, France, won the Young Achievement Award. In his sixth year of studying saxophone at the Nantes Conservatory of Music, Kevin has contributed to promoting Vietnamese culture through his musical talent and fundraising activities to support disadvantaged children.
The Outstanding Global Charity Award was given to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, an Australian charity that has been working in Vietnam since 2002 to support disabled children, street children and victims of human trafficking.

Ms. Katrin Kandel, CEO of Facing the World (FTW), received the Innovation of the Year award. FTW is a charity founded in 2002 in the UK, specializing in supporting surgery for Vietnamese children with congenital facial deformities, providing professional training for Vietnamese surgeons, and sponsoring medical equipment and technology for remote medical examination and treatment for Vietnamese hospitals.
Professor Michael Mainelli, recipient of the special Lifetime Achievement Award, humbly shared that he was honored to be nominated and receive the award even though he had not contributed as much as he would have liked to promoting Vietnam-UK relations, especially in trade cooperation.

Professor Mainelli said that Vietnam's international awards are very important, creating cohesion between communities. He appreciated the contributions of the Vietnamese community in the UK in creating diversity and richness in the life and culture of London. He also expressed his hope that London could help enrich the lives of people in Vietnam.
Within the framework of the Vietnam International Awards Ceremony, there will also be a performance of the Prosperous Planet Ao Dai collection by designer Lan Huong and a Vietnamese art performance to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends, as well as charity auctions from Love Collection and Fusian.
