On January 10, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a conference to summarize and award the Literature and Arts Awards in 2024; and deploy key tasks in 2025.
Attending the event were Comrade Vi Manh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Associate Professor, Doctor, Musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
In 2024, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts (VLA) has successfully completed the assigned political and professional tasks, building a strong organization. Promoting the role of a bridge connecting artists, inspiring creativity for members through organizing many professional activities, opening creative camps, competitions, seminars...; with thousands of VLA works of members and collaborators. Many VLA works have been published, vividly depicting the socio-economic life, cultural traditions of the people of the Ancestral Land. In 2025, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association will continue to do well in political and ideological work, strengthen solidarity and unity, and promptly encourage artists in creating literary and artistic works. Regarding professional work, the Association will well organize the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day and cultural and artistic activities serving: Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival; summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification; publish the Collection of Phu Tho Literature and Arts Works for the period 2020-2025 and improve the quality of the Literature and Arts Magazine of the Land of Ancestors. At the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Vi Manh Hung and Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations Do Hong Quan and delegates awarded the 2024 Literature and Arts Awards to authors with excellent works and groups of works, including: 9 A prizes, 9 B prizes, 18 C prizes. On this occasion, collectives and individuals with many achievements in 2024 were also awarded.
