Honoring People's Teachers, Excellent Teachers and Outstanding Teachers in 2024

On the morning of November 17, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Education Trade Union held the 16th ceremony to award the title of People's Teacher, Excellent Teacher and honor Outstanding Teachers in 2024.

The program aims to commend, honor and show gratitude to outstanding teachers who have many innovations and contributions to theeducation cause; at the same time, encourage teachers to overcome difficulties and perform their tasks well, contributing to the successful implementation of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training.

Although each person holds a different position and undertakes a different task, the common points of teachers are their dedication, responsibility, and passion for their profession; their determination to constantly innovate, be creative, and overcome difficulties to complete their work in the best way; and their dedication and silent dedication of their intelligence and efforts to the cause of education.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Nguyen Kim Son congratulated 21 People's Teachers, 65 Excellent Teachers and 251 Outstanding Teachers who were honored.

Sharing the results and achievements of the education sector, Minister Nguyen Kim Son emphasized that in order to achieve the above results, in addition to the leadership of the Party and State, the direction of the Government , the coordination of relevant ministries, branches and organizations, the active participation of localities, and the attention of the whole society, it is necessary to mention the especially important role of teachers.

"We are all aware that good, dedicated, exemplary teachers, and especially excellent teachers, play a core, leading role and have great influence," the Minister said.

The Minister of Education and Training also acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of teachers to the education sector, to the cause of science and innovation of the country over the past time.

To successfully carry out the major tasks of the education sector, according to Minister Nguyen Kim Son, the entire sector must be very determined and must meet many necessary conditions. In particular, the human factor, typically teachers and education managers, plays a particularly important role.

In particular, People's Teachers, Excellent Teachers, and Exemplary Teachers will be the core to best promote their own experience, intelligence, determination, and creativity, while sharing, spreading, and inspiring positivity and multiplying good things to the community of teachers.

"The title is a recognition and honor for the contributions of teachers, and also an expectation and hope that teachers will continue to shine and contribute to the development of education," according to the Minister of Education and Training.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Minister Nguyen Kim Son awarded the titles of Meritorious Teacher and People's Teacher; delegates also awarded the titles of Outstanding Teacher to teachers.
