Recently, Ly Nha Ky and guest Thao Trang opened up about their ups and downs in life and career in the program Afternoon Tea with the Chic Aunt.
Singers Thao Trang and Ly Nha Ky shared about their ups and downs in life and career.
Here, singer Thao Trang shared that she is a strong, independent person. This personality was forged by her through many events in life. Thao Trang revealed her turbulent past: " I was born into an incomplete family. I was not as lucky as other friends because I experienced many sad things in my family. My parents did not live happily. My father was a drunkard. His drinking habits led to many dramas in the family."
After her parents' marriage broke down, she and her siblings followed their mother to the South to live. From then on, her life gradually turned a new page. At the present time, Thao Trang believes that happiness is moderation, knowing how to feel satisfied: "I don't ask for anything, I just focus on living in the present. Although life has many ups and downs, I still feel happy and optimistic because I have my 7-year-old son by my side."
Listening to the guests' sharing, Ly Nha Ky also said that despite the ups and downs, her life was quite lucky when all her future plans were successful: "At the age of 23, I dreamed of becoming a businesswoman so I opened a company. Once I became a boss, I dreamed of owning a villa. So I switched to real estate, buying rice fields. At the age of 25, I was lucky to own a villa in Phu My Hung, District 7.
Bored, I wanted to do diplomacy again. So I became the Honorary Consul of Romania. I also dreamed of doing art and now have some of my own works."
When asked about her intention to get married after many years of being a single mother, Thao Trang said she was completely ready if she found the right person. As for Ly Nha Ky, she confided that she was a bit hesitant to open her heart to someone new because she had witnessed many broken relationships, even close to the wedding day, which made her worried: "I sympathize with Thao Trang. This is the stage where I long to find my other half and wear a wedding dress to the altar.
I love wearing wedding dresses, sometimes I even take wedding dress photos with my crew. Many people think I am getting married but I am not. I imagine, if I could wear a wedding dress and get married for real, I would probably cry a lot. Of all my dresses, from designer dresses to 2 billion VND dresses, I only like wearing wedding dresses.
However, I am a bit hesitant to open up to someone new. Witnessing many broken relationships, even breaking up right before the wedding, I can't help but worry," the businesswoman shared.
Ly Nha Ky is in the stage of longing to find her other half and wants to wear a wedding dress to the altar.
Ly Nha Ky added that she feels that no matter how strong a woman is, she still chooses safety in marriage. However, the current problem is that most women do not feel safe in marriage.
Explaining this, Thao Trang believes that social media is one of the reasons why couples' relationships are not strong: "Since social media appeared, many 'butterflies' have found each other. Just by liking a hot girl's photo online, a boyfriend immediately has trouble with his girlfriend. That can lead to arguments."
Ly Nha Ky expressed: "I think that the problem of broken relationships also comes from too high material needs. The need to use branded goods, buy luxury cars, houses, and travel has gradually created a common standard when getting married. Therefore, many girls often ask their boyfriends, do you have a house, will you give me money? As for men, they also ask their girlfriends, does she have a job, is she financially independent? From then on, people come together by calculation, love is no longer like the time of their parents, a thatched hut, two golden hearts. Loyalty, monogamy is now very vague".
