Do My Linh was crowned Miss Vietnam 2016. At the time of her coronation, Do My Linh was 1.71m tall with sexy measurements of 87-61-94cm. In 2017, Miss Do My Linh - Vietnam's representative attended the Miss World contest held in China. As a result, Do My Linh entered the Top 40 finalists, and entered the Top 5 of the Miss Charity contest with the project "Carrying electricity to the village".
Returning from the Miss World pageant, Miss Do My Linh attracted attention when she determined to pursue a career as an MC and editor at VTV. In a conversation with Dan Viet reporter, Miss Vietnam 2016 said that she took on the role of MC and editor at the News Department - Sports Department, Vietnam Television. Previously, Do My Linh worked at VTV's Consumer 24h news bulletin.
