On the morning of June 27, at the National Funeral House (No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi), the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the family solemnly held the funeral of former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, according to the State Funeral ceremony.

On the morning of June 27, at the National Funeral House (No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi), the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the family solemnly held the funeral of former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, according to the State funeral ceremony.
On the morning of June 27, at the National Funeral House (No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi), the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the family solemnly held the funeral of former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, according to the State funeral ceremony.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent wreaths to pay their respects to comrade Vu Khoan.
The delegation of the Party Central Committee led by Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai visited comrade Vu Khoan and expressed condolences to his family. Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former Presidents Truong Tan Sang and Nguyen Xuan Phuc; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Sinh Hung and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan,... joined the delegation.
The National Assembly delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue; the Presidential delegation led by President Vo Van Thuong; the Government delegation led by Party Central Committee Secretary, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai; and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy paid their respects to comrade Vu Khoan.

Writing in the condolence book, expressing condolences to comrade Vu Khoan, President Vo Van Thuong wrote: "Deeply mourning comrade Vu Khoan, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a leader who made many contributions to the process of opening up, integration, innovation and development of the country.
He devoted himself to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party, State and people. I would like to send my deepest condolences to the family of Comrade Vu Khoan. May comrade Vu Khoan rest in peace."
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue wrote in the condolence book: "Deeply mourning comrade Vu Khoan, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister, an example of complete talent and virtue, who made worthy contributions to the cause of national construction, national defense and international integration.
On behalf of the National Assembly Party Delegation, the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the National Assembly deputies, I would like to bid farewell to you and send my deepest condolences to the entire family of comrade Vu Khoan."
Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai wrote in the condolence book, "Deeply mourning comrade Vu Khoan, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister. He made many great contributions to the country, the people, and the Party; always devoted himself, and was a shining example for future generations.
The country and the Party will forever remember your contributions. Our sincere condolences to the entire family. We respectfully bid you farewell to comrade Vu Khoan."
Expressing condolences to comrade Vu Khoan, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai wrote in the condolence book: "With deep sorrow, farewell to comrade Vu Khoan, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Prime Minister, a loyal, exemplary, thrifty, honest, impartial communist, an excellent diplomat, of great prestige to the Party, State and people. He devoted his whole life to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, making important contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
The passing of the comrade leaves behind infinite sorrow for the Party, the State and the people. I would like to send my deepest condolences to the entire family of the comrade. Farewell comrade, we vow to join hands and hearts to realize the aspiration of building a prosperous and happy country."
Former leaders of the Party, State and Government signed the condolence book to pay their respects to former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan.
The memorial service for comrade Vu Khoan will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. The burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi.
