The mobilization program "Saving money to join hands for the poor" in Lao Cai province takes place from April 10 to December 31, 2024; the peak period is from May 1 to May 31.
The launching ceremony is scheduled to take place at 9:00 a.m. on May 14; it will be held online at the provincial Social Policy Bank Branch and the Social Policy Bank Transaction Offices of districts and towns.
Subjects of implementation include: Economic organizations, enterprises, cooperatives, socio-political organizations, socio-professional organizations, social funds, charity funds, individuals at home and abroad.
Deposit receiving locations are at the headquarters of the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch, the District and Town Social Policy Bank Transaction Offices; and commune transaction points (commune People's Committee headquarters on fixed transaction days that have been publicly posted). Forms of term savings deposits and non-term savings deposits. Interest rates on savings deposits are implemented according to the regulations of the General Director of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank at the time of deposit.
To effectively mobilize "Saving money to join hands for the poor", the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branches and Social Policy Bank Transaction Offices in districts and towns advise local Party committees and authorities, coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, socio-political organizations receiving the trust and the entire political system to lead and direct the peak month activities of "Saving money to join hands for the poor".
Focus on propaganda and mobilization on mass media and in many other forms to create consensus, response and active participation of organizations and individuals inside and outside the province. Political and social organizations at all levels are entrusted to actively propagate and mobilize savings, striving to achieve and exceed the amount of money according to the target launched at the commune level.
Mobilizing savings deposits into the Social Policy Bank demonstrates profound humanity, mobilizing idle capital from the people, creating income for depositors, and at the same time supplementing capital for the Social Policy Bank to implement social policy credit programs, contributing to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, building new rural areas and developing the economy and society of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, ensuring social security.
With the spirit of one person depositing a little, many people will create financial resources to supplement the increasingly better policy credit capital, meeting the borrowing needs of the poor and other policy subjects.
