Children of Vietnam Organization sponsors over 600 million VND to build classrooms in Quang Nam

On March 13, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Quang Nam province coordinated with the Children of Vietnam Organization to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new classrooms and equipment support for the kindergarten in village 5, Tien Hiep commune (Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam).

Tien Hiep Commune is a commune with difficult economic conditions, located 14 km west of the center of Tien Phuoc district. In 2023, the poverty rate was 5.6%, the near-poor household rate was 2.08%. In the commune, there is currently 1 Kindergarten including 1 main school and 1 satellite school in village 5. However, the number of children attending Tien Hiep Kindergarten every year is low due to insufficient facilities and teaching equipment. Especially the lack of classrooms at the satellite school in village 5.

In order to create favorable conditions for children in mountainous and remote areas to study in the best environment, Children of Vietnam has sponsored the construction of new classrooms and supported equipment for the kindergarten in village 5.

The scale of the project includes building 1 classroom, 1 dining room, 1 warehouse and toilet with an area of ​​114m2. The total cost is over 700 million VND. Of which, Children of Vietnam organization sponsored over 635 million VND, Tien Phuoc District People's Committee contributed 142 million VND.

The project implementation will help Kindergarten Village 5 to be equipped with facilities according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training , ensuring solidity, safety, creating favorable conditions for the school to improve the quality of care, teaching and learning in the particularly difficult area. At the same time, it will do a good job of socializing education, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

The project is expected to be completed after 3 months and put into use.
