On June 4, information from Nam Dinh province said that JiaWei Group (Taiwan) and its supporting enterprises have decided to invest in My Thuan Industrial Park (My Loc District, Nam Dinh) with a total expected capital of about 100 million USD on an area of nearly 15 hectares with a group of 3 projects.
Previously, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with JiaWei Group led by Ms. Ngo Le Hoa, Chairwoman of JiaWei Group's Board of Directors, and the group's supporting enterprises. Also attending the meeting was Mr. Gian Chi Minh, General Director of the Taiwan Business Association in Vietnam.
At the meeting, Ms. Ngo Le Hoa expressed her appreciation for the positive and friendly spirit of the provincial leaders, departments, branches and enterprises providing infrastructure of Nam Dinh Industrial Park in supporting the group to approach and research to soon make decisions to invest in related projects serving the production of high-tech household appliances in the province.

After carefully studying the investment environment of Nam Dinh province, JiaWei Group and its supporting enterprises decided to invest in My Thuan Industrial Park with a total expected capital of about 100 million USD on an area of nearly 15 hectares with a group of 3 projects.
Specifically, JiaWei Group invested in a high-tech household appliance factory with an area of 8.5 hectares and a total investment of 80 million USD; Thien Ha Company invested in a printing factory supporting Jiawei Group's project with an area of 2.5 hectares and a total investment of 10 million USD; Tan Viet Hung Company invested in a paper box factory supporting Jiawei Group's project with an area of 3.3 hectares and a total investment of 10 million USD.
JiaWei also proposed that Nam Dinh province continue to support the group to soon and effectively implement the next steps in investing in the project group, especially considering and adjusting the industries attracting investment in My Thuan Industrial Park, creating favorable legal basis when the group's supporting enterprises invest in factories producing paper boxes and printed products.
Mr. Gian Chi Minh said that JiaWei is a large corporation specializing in manufacturing high-tech household appliances from new, environmentally friendly materials, exporting about 6,000 containers of high-quality products to the US and European markets every year.
JiaWei Group has been listed on the stock exchange in Taiwan.
Thus, after Quanta Group, JiaWei is the second group of large Taiwanese corporations to invest in My Thuan Industrial Park of Nam Dinh province.
