Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union propagates border laws

(GLO)- On May 31, in Ia Pnôn commune (Duc Co district), Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union organized a propaganda activity with the theme "Gia Lai Youth for the Fatherland's Border". Here, union members, young people, students and people in the commune were disseminated and propagated about the National Border Law, the Vietnam Border Law and propaganda on reducing the situation of early marriage and incestuous marriage among union members and young people of ethnic minorities.

Propaganda activities aim to help union members, youth and border residents better understand the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, thereby raising awareness, sense of responsibility and promoting the vanguard role of union members and youth in protecting territorial sovereignty , participating in socio-economic development in border areas; creating a strong change in awareness, consciousness, responsibility and actions of union chapters at all levels, union members, youth, preventing early marriage and incestuous marriage.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented 15 gifts to families of former youth volunteers, families in difficult circumstances and 10 gifts to students who overcame difficulties to study well; presented 9 warning signs to prevent drowning to the Ia Pnôn Commune Youth Union to be placed in dangerous areas that can easily cause drowning for children. Along with that, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Duc Co district also presented 25 gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances, children with serious illnesses, and students with disabilities.
