The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has issued a bulletin of thunderstorms and localized heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind in the Northern and Central regions; and a weather forecast for Hanoi in the next 10 days, from November 6 to November 15.

The news said that currently (November 5), the cold air mass is still moving south.

It is forecasted that due to the influence of cold air combined with the wind convergence zone above 1,500m, on the day and night of November 6, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in mountainous and midland areas, there will be moderate rain, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, some places over 70mm.

In the afternoon and night of November 6, in the North Central region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, in some places over 50mm.

Warning, from early morning of November 7 to November 8, the Central and South Central regions will have showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-50mm, some places over 80mm.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind, flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes. Localized heavy rains can cause flooding in low-lying areas.

Weather forecast for the capital from the night of November 5 to the day of November 6: cloudy, no rain at night; occasional showers, thunderstorms, light winds during the day; from tomorrow, November 6, the northeast wind will gradually increase to level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature: 23-25 ​​degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 26-28 degrees Celsius.

On November 7, Hanoi will have clouds and showers, with temperatures ranging from 22-27 degrees Celsius.

From November 8-10, the capital's temperature tends to increase again, with cloudy weather during the day but no rain. The lowest temperature ranges from 23-24 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature ranges from 30-32 degrees Celsius.

From November 11, Hanoi's temperature gradually decreased until November 15, with thunderstorms on many days. The highest temperature of the day decreased from 30-31 degrees Celsius before to 25-26 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature of the day also decreased accordingly, by November 14-15 it was only below 20 degrees Celsius.
