Body of drowning victim found in Song Sat irrigation lake

On the afternoon of May 29, after more than 1 hour of searching, the rescue team of Ninh Thuan Police found the body of the victim Nguyen Van H. (49 years old, residing in Ma Hoa village, Phuoc Dai commune, Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan), who drowned in the Song Sat irrigation lake in Phuoc Dai commune.

Rescue forces found the victim's body

According to witnesses, at around 2:00 p.m. on May 29, they saw Mr. Nguyen Van H. jump into the water to swim at the dam area of ​​Song Sat Lake, but after 15 minutes, they did not see Mr. H. emerge, so they immediately reported it to the local police. The area where the victim drowned was 5-7 meters deep, with many rocks and tree roots at the bottom.

The victim's body was brought ashore.

After arriving at the scene, the rescue team conducted a reconnaissance of the scene and used specialized rescue equipment to deploy a team to search for the victim. At 3:00 p.m. the same day, the rescue team found the victim's body and handed it over to the family for funeral arrangements.
