Looking for victims who were scammed out of more than 50 billion VND by the group of "sex apps" and "love apps"

The Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Police said that it has announced a search for victims related to a fraud case of appropriating property via cyberspace using the method of using "sex apps" and "love apps" led by Dinh Van Phu (born in 1991, residing in Quang Ninh).

Previously, on May 4, the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Police initiated a case and prosecuted Phu, Nguyen Van Viet (born 2001, residing in Quang Ninh), Vo Quoc Thai (born 1996), Tu Dang Thanh (born 2006, residing in Ca Mau), Vo Thuy Trang (born 1999), Kim Thuy Van (born 2006), Pham Hoai Nam (born 2002, both residing in Tay Ninh), Vo Van Tinh (born 2002, residing in Bac Lieu), Nguyen Thi Duyen (born 2003, residing in Bac Ninh) for fraud and property appropriation.

On April 21, the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Police coordinated with the Military Police Department of Svayrieng Province, Cambodia to dismantle a high-tech fraud and property appropriation ring with the above mentioned methods. The police force arrested and interviewed 20 subjects. Expanding the investigation, the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Police conducted criminal proceedings against the above mentioned group of subjects.

Through investigation, it was determined that they had defrauded many victims in provinces and cities across the country, appropriating more than 50 billion VND. Victims are requested to quickly go to the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Police to assist in the investigation and strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
