Destroy 90 kg of chicken feet and pork bones of unknown origin

On September 6, Market Management Team No. 4, Nghe An Province Market Management Department coordinated with the District Traffic Police Team and Quynh Luu District Medical Center to inspect a truck with license plate 37C-383.50 driven by Mr. Phan Duc Hung, residing in Minh Chau Commune, Dien Chau District.

Upon inspection, the inspection team discovered that the vehicle was transporting 40kg of chicken feet and 50kg of frozen pork bones. All of these goods were contained in 09 unlabeled styrofoam boxes that gave off a foul odor.

At the time of inspection, the owner of the above goods could not present invoices and documents proving the origin of the shipment. Market Management Team No. 4 imposed an administrative penalty on Mr. Phan Duc Hung and forced the destruction of all the above-mentioned violating goods according to the provisions of law.

Total fine value is 13.9 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hong, Captain of Market Management Team No. 4 said: In the coming time, the Market Management force will continue to coordinate with functional forces to strengthen inspection and control in the field of food safety, resolutely and strictly handle subjects with violations of food safety. Through inspection combined with propaganda and dissemination of the law to businesses and consumers to choose safe food with clear origin.
