Accordingly, the iPhone Plus model, which is popular for its "huge" battery, now disappoints users because the upcoming iPhone 16 Plus may have a battery with reduced capacity compared to the iPhone 15 Plus, with only 4,006mAh compared to 4,383mAh of the iPhone 15 Plus, a decrease of 8.6%.
This reduction will really "shock" Apple fans because normally Apple will tend to increase the battery capacity of the next generation of devices every year.
In return, according to this source, the remaining 3 iPhone 16 versions all have increased battery capacity compared to the previous generation.
Specifically, the iPhone 16 increased from 3,349 to 3,561 mAh, a 6% increase compared to the iPhone 15; the iPhone 16 Pro increased 2.47% from 3,274 to 3,355mAh; and the iPhone 16 Pro Max increased 5.7%, from 4,422 to 4,676mAh.

The iPhone 16 series is expected to be launched by Apple next September.
