The delegates announced the draft report on the results of the inspection of the use of State statistical data and information at the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province in 2022 and 2023. Accordingly, the Working Group inspected 105 reports, including quarterly, 6-month, 9-month and annual reports in 2022 and 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Statistics Office and 23 departments, branches and sectors of the province in the use of State statistical data and information.

The Provincial People's Committee has used statistical indicators belonging to the provincial statistical indicator system; used many statistical data and information published and disseminated by the Statistics sector to serve leadership, direction and administration.

At the same time, update data on indicators belonging to the provincial statistical indicator system in reporting periods after the provincial statistical sector announces and disseminates. The Provincial People's Committee has also used many data on indicators outside the provincial statistical indicator system to assess the local socio-economic situation...

Leaders of departments, branches and sectors have clarified difficulties and limitations, proposed solutions to unify indicators, use data and State statistical information of the unit to serve the synthesis of reports and timely advice.

At the working session, Head of the working delegation Le Manh Hong highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and sectors of the province in statistical work. He requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue to direct the use of state statistical data and information to improve the effectiveness of statistical work in the province and unify the use of data of statistical indicators.

At the same time, direct departments, branches, sectors and localities to strengthen coordination with the Provincial Statistics Office to do better in updating, informing, and maximizing the use of statistical data and information; collect information, implement statistical reporting regimes, and share statistical information to create consistency in data right from the stage of information collection and processing...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Giang agreed with the inspection results of the Working Group. He emphasized that in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to direct departments and branches to review and consider statistical contents and data; strengthen coordination with the Provincial Statistics Office in collecting and implementing statistical information; fully implement the extraction of data sources for indicators, and improve the effectiveness of statistical work.
