On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), on the afternoon of December 16, Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee came to congratulate the cadres, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command. Sending the best wishes to the cadres, officers, soldiers, the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan emphasized: Throughout the journey of building, fighting and growing, the armed forces of Thanh Hoa province have always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the State and the People, promoting the good image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers". Regularly performing well the advisory function for the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in building the all-people national defense, the all-people national defense posture, associated with the increasingly strong people's security posture and the all-people border defense posture; building an increasingly solid defense area.

Along with that, cadres, officers and soldiers of the Military Command and the Thanh Hoa Border Guard Command have helped the people have a peaceful and stable life; done well in foreign affairs; effectively fought against all types of border crimes, maximizing the combined strength of the entire political system, meeting the requirements and tasks of firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the borders and islands of the Fatherland.
