Supporting Union officials and members to pioneer digital transformation

The upcoming dialogue conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Ha Tinh youth is a forum for the head of the provincial government to grasp the aspirations and recommendations of the young generation, while helping to remove difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for implementing the youth development resolution in the coming time.

Implementing the Youth Law 2020; Decree No. 13/2021/ND-CP dated March 1, 2021 of the Government on dialogue with youth; Decision No. 657-QD/TU dated April 4, 2018 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee promulgating the regulations on direct contact and dialogue between heads of Party committees and authorities at all levels with the people in Ha Tinh province, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to organize a Dialogue Conference between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and youth in the province in 2023. The conference will take place on October 17 with the theme: "Ha Tinh youth pioneer digital transformation, actively participate in socio-economic development".

The conference is an opportunity for the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to directly listen to the aspirations, recommendations and proposals of cadres, union members and youths in the whole province, thereby directing the resolution and removal of difficulties and problems, paying attention to mechanisms and policies to support and promote the young force, especially in the fields of digital transformation, careers, employment, start-ups, and career establishment...

This is also a forum for young people to propose ideas, initiatives and solutions related to the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; effectively implementing Resolution No. 103/NQ-HDND dated December 16, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on youth development in Ha Tinh province for the period 2023 - 2030.

The conference also aims to propagate and widely disseminate to young people the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, the province's socio-economic situation and tasks and solutions in the coming time; raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and localities in caring for and developing young people; continue to create changes in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the province.

To prepare well for the dialogue program, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial People's Committee Office worked with relevant parties to review and prepare the contents for the dialogue, and at the same time assigned tasks to the units.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed the grassroots youth unions to survey, collect opinions and recommendations from young party members, cadres and youth union members. Currently, the Provincial Youth Union and the Department of Home Affairs have compiled a system of questions sent by cadres and youth union members, including groups of fields: digital transformation, job creation, support for start-up loans, production development in various fields, recruitment of civil servants, policies for Youth Union, association and team cadres, etc.

It is expected that at this conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches will directly answer questions, proposals and recommendations from cadres, union members and youths throughout the province. This is a new method compared to previous dialogue conferences.

Mr. Ho Sy Nam (owner of a youth economic model in Huong Khe district) expressed: “Hopefully, the dialogue program will provide orientations for youth development in the digital transformation period; career guidance, vocational training and job creation. At the same time, propose practical and timely mechanisms and policies to support young people in starting a business and meeting the urgent need for start-up capital for young people”.

In order to create a strong influence to a large number of young people, the program was advised to be organized in a direct and online format. Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the dialogue program at the provincial bridge, connecting online with 13 bridges in districts, cities, towns and online monitoring bridges across the province.

The Provincial Youth Union has also designed a system of posters and infographics to widely promote the conference on social networks. At the same time, QR codes have been created for young party members, cadres, and youth union members to access documents and participate in asking questions and making recommendations to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also at the program, there will be a signing ceremony of the Coordination Regulations between the Provincial People's Committee and Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union for the period 2023 - 2027 with many important contents.

With the attention of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, with the careful preparation and responsibility of the units, we hope and believe that, through the dialogue conference, the legitimate proposals and recommendations of the youth will be resolved promptly and effectively.

This is also an opportunity for the Youth Union at all levels to absorb and grasp many important guidelines, policies and contents to continue to improve the quality of the Youth Union and youth movements, especially promoting the role and responsibility of union members and young people in the field of digital transformation, participating in socio-economic development, implementing the political tasks of the province, strongly arousing the aspirations of the young generation to contribute to building the homeland and the country.
