Received nearly 300 units of voluntary blood in the program "Giọt hồng cổ Đô"

On November 15, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation coordinated with Bao Viet Ninh Binh Life Company and 4 colleges and universities in the area to organize the voluntary blood donation program "Red Drops of the Ancient Capital".

With the message "Connecting volunteer arms - Sharing drops of blood of love", the program attracted more than 300 cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, youth, workers, and volunteers from Bao Viet Ninh Binh Life Insurance Company; Hoa Lu University; Lilama College; Viet Xo Construction Electromechanical College and Ninh Binh Mechanical College. As a result, nearly 300 units of blood were received by the Provincial General Hospital to promptly meet the need for blood in emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities.

In recent years, thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, the voluntary blood donation movement in our province has achieved many outstanding results. Our province has always completed and exceeded the set plan. From now until the end of 2023, a number of localities and units will complete voluntary blood donation campaigns according to the set plan. It is estimated that in 2023, the whole province will receive 12,300 units of blood, exceeding the plan assigned by the province by 37%.
