Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor on the morning of September 7, 2024 were dominated by red, with a decrease of 7.55 - 8.20 cents/lb. Specifically, the December 2024 delivery period was 236.00 cents/lb, down 3.36%; the March 2025 delivery period was 234.55 cents/lb (down 3.34%); the May 2025 delivery period was 232.90 cents/lb (down 3.24%) and the July 2025 delivery period was 230.70, down 3.17%.

The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee on the morning of September 7, 2024 increased and decreased in opposite directions. Specifically, the delivery period for September 2024 was 287.85 USD/ton, down 2.92%; the delivery period for December 2024 was 291.10 USD/ton (up 0.69%); the delivery period for March 2025 was 287.15 USD/ton, down 2.92%) and the delivery period for May 2025 was 283.85 USD/ton, down 3.50%.

Arabica coffee on the ICE Futures US (New York floor) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will be open from 19:00 – 02:35 (next day), Vietnam time.
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:30 a.m. on September 7, 2024 as follows: The domestic coffee market today continued to increase by 300 - 400 VND/kg compared to the same time yesterday, ranging from 119,800 - 120,900. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 120,400 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 120,900 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai province (Chu Prong) is 120,500 VND, an increase of 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday, in Pleiku and La Grai the price is 120,400 VND/kg. In Kon Tum province, the price is 120,500 VND/kg, an increase of 300 VND/kg compared to yesterday; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 120,900 VND/kg, an increase of 400 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 119,800 VND/kg, an increase of 400 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices today (September 7) in Dak Lak province; in Cu M'gar district, coffee is purchased at about 120,500 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at 120,400 VND/kg.
According to the General Statistics Office, in August 2024, Vietnam exported about 73,000 tons of coffee, earning 384 million USD, an estimated decrease of 14.1% in volume and an increase of 48.9% in value over the same period in 2023.
In the first 8 months, Vietnam's coffee exports reached 1.052 million tons, worth 3.99 billion USD, down 12.5% in volume but up 34.8% in value compared to the same period last year.
The average coffee export price in August 2024 reached 5,260 USD/ton, 309 USD/ton higher (equivalent to an increase of 6.2%) compared to July 2024 and 2,211 USD/ton higher (equivalent to an increase of 72.5%) compared to the average coffee export price in January 2024.
In the first 8 months of the year, average coffee exports reached 3,795 USD/ton. Currently, the market is very sensitive due to high prices and limited supply. Previously in Vietnam, coffee prices often decreased during the harvest season, causing farmers to sell early and businesses to sign contracts early.
Recently, coffee prices have not decreased but increased during the harvest season, so farmers keep coffee and businesses do not sign contracts early.
Vietnam's coffee output is expected to fall 10% year-on-year due to unfavorable weather, and prices could hit new highs.
