According to Resolution 1241, the entire natural area of 16.51km2 and population of 3,207 people of Tien Cam commune were merged into Tien Son commune.
After the merger, Tien Son commune has a natural area of 40.11 km2 and a population of 7,382 people. Tien Son commune borders Tien Chau, Tien Ha, Tien Phong (Tien Phuoc) communes and Hiep Duc, Phu Ninh, Thang Binh districts. After the arrangement, Tien Phuoc district has 14 commune-level administrative units, including 13 communes and 1 town.
Resolution 1241 takes effect from January 1, 2025.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee announced the decision of the District Party Executive Committee on establishing Tien Son Commune Party Committee and transferring Tien Cam Commune Party Committee, including 8 Party organizations and 114 Party members (including 2 probationary Party members) to Tien Son Commune Party Committee.
At the same time, Decision 1406 dated December 19, 2024 of the Standing Committee of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee was announced, appointing the Executive Committee of Tien Son Commune Party Committee (term 2020 - 2025) consisting of 18 comrades, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee consisting of 5 comrades; appointing comrade Bui Ngoc Cam to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary and comrades Nguyen Vinh Liem, Bui Thi Lieu, Nguyen Thi Tham, and Doan Van Thu to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretaries.
Secretary of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee Pham Van Doc emphasized that the arrangement of commune-level administrative units is a major policy of the Party and State, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management. Today's event has historical significance, a very important milestone for the Party Committee, government and people of Tien Son and Tien Cam communes; at the same time, it is also a new mark of Tien Phuoc district in the process of arranging administrative units to meet development requirements in the current period.
Mr. Pham Van Doc requested that the district agencies, departments, authorities, unions and associations, together with the newly established Tien Son Commune Party Committee, continue to disseminate regulations and guidelines on policies and regimes so that everyone can clearly understand and agree to implement them to achieve the highest results and efficiency.
