On the afternoon of April 25, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with the advisory agencies assisting the Provincial Party Committee to hear the results of the implementation of tasks in the first quarter of 2024 and orient key tasks for the second quarter of 2024.
Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Ho Le Ngoc - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department; Heads, deputy heads and chiefs of offices of the Provincial Party Committee's advisory and support agencies.
In the first quarter, the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee proactively deployed and completed the work plan according to the assigned fields. The focus is on advising on the implementation of programs and projects as assigned in Action Program No. 68, dated November 12, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee to implement Resolution No. 39, dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The agencies also advised the Party Committee to direct the preliminary and final review of the resolutions, directives and regulations of the Central and the province to ensure the process and quality; advised on amending and supplementing the Working Regulations of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee, term XIX, 2020 - 2025...
At the meeting, leaders of advisory and support agencies also reflected and proposed to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee a number of contents that need continued attention and leadership. In particular, promoting propaganda work, creating consensus in the work of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels in the province, period 2023 - 2025; strengthening the leadership role of Party committees at all levels in the work of developing Party members; reviewing and supplementing cadre planning; developing job position projects in each agency and unit; strengthening inspection and supervision activities of Party committees in a number of fields, Party building work, etc.
Some opinions also recommended that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee direct the resolution of a number of issues related to ensuring conditions for facilities, equipment, and means to serve the tasks and activities of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; including information technology infrastructure and Internet transmission systems that do not meet requirements...
Strengthening coordination between agencies
Concluding the meeting, in addition to recognizing the proactive and active implementation of tasks according to the plan of each agency, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee frankly pointed out some slow tasks of some agencies. The coordination relationship between some agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee in some tasks is not close and the efficiency is not high.
Orienting a number of key tasks in the second quarter of 2024, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong requested that the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee focus more deeply on the identified key tasks, especially unfinished work, clarify the reasons for the delay, and propose immediate solutions to avoid affecting the common work.
Focus on developing and implementing the digital transformation project in the Party agencies; request the Provincial Party Committee Office to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to disseminate and implement Regulation No. 137, dated December 6, 2023 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee.
Regarding the low rate of party member development in many party committees in the first quarter of 2024, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to assess the situation, analyze and clarify the causes, and propose solutions to overcome the situation, so that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee can provide timely guidance. At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee Office was assigned to study and advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on ensuring conditions for agencies to perform their political tasks well.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee to strengthen coordination in implementing common tasks and works directed by the Standing Provincial Party Committee, ensuring more timely progress and better quality.
