Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council works with Standing Committees of Ninh Son and Bac Ai District People's Councils

On February 22, the Standing Delegation of the Provincial People's Council led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Ninh Son District People's Council on the results of activities in 2023 and directions and tasks in 2024.

At the working session, after listening to the local government report on the socio-economic development situation; activities of the district People's Council in 2023 and the first 2 months of 2024. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee of Ninh Son district to continue to promote the inspection and supervision of the implementation of socio-economic targets and tasks in 2024 set by the locality; proactively review the operating regulations and coordination regulations between the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to ensure convenience in the work of the People's Council; at the same time, strengthen the organization of the People's Council's explanation sessions on issues of interest and recommendations to voters; regularly organize thematic meetings with voters; promote digital transformation, application of information technology; focus on coordination with relevant departments, branches and units in the construction of key projects and works of the province being implemented in the locality...

On the same day, the Standing Delegation of the Provincial People's Council inspected the Song Than reservoir project in Hoa Son commune. Here, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the investor to urge the contractor to speed up the construction progress; Ninh Son district needs to strengthen propaganda and mobilize the remaining households to hand over the land in the reservoir soon, in order to complete the site clearance, ensuring the Song Than reservoir project is soon completed and put into operation, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
