Vinamilk - Vietnamese milk brand owns "3 stars" of premium delicious taste

Recently, the fact that for the first time, restaurants/eateries in Vietnam have been awarded Michelin "stars" or listed in the Michelin Guide is attracting great attention. However, few people know that in the food industry, there is also a prestigious award, awarding "Stars" for the delicious taste of food and drinks. That is the international Superior Taste Award recognized by the International Taste Institute.

Vinamilk has 8 products awarded from 1 star to 3 stars by the Superior Taste Award.

Similar to Michelin's "stars", the Superior Taste Award recognizes and ranks food and beverage products according to 3 levels - corresponding to the number of stars awarded. Accordingly, the highest level of product is 3 stars - meaning a premium delicacy, exceeding expectations (rating score of 90% or higher); a 2-star product is an excellent delicacy (scoring 80-90% of the criteria) and a 1-star product is a typical delicacy (scoring 70-80% of the criteria).

Specifically, products will be scored based on 5 international Hedonic sensory analysis criteria (AFNOR XP V096A), including: first impression, sight, smell, taste and texture (for food) or final feeling or aftertaste (for beverages).

Ông Thọ condensed milk - a "national" milk product with a delicious taste that lasts through the years - has conquered more than 200 judges of the award to achieve the highest rating of "3 stars".

Notably, this year's award for the first time featured two milk products with the highest 3-star rating from Vietnam: Ông Thọ condensed milk and Vinamilk Super Nut 9-grain milk. If Ông Thọ condensed milk is a product known as a "national" brand that has accompanied and been associated with many generations of Vietnamese people for more than 47 years, Super Nut is a "newcomer" that has only been launched for more than a year. These are all Vinamilk's best-selling products today.

Although newly launched, Vinamilk's "newbie" Super Nut 9-nut milk is receiving great love from consumers for both its delicious taste and quality.

In addition to the two excellent representatives with 3 stars, Vinamilk also has a series of other products named in the "Premium Taste" list. Including Vinamilk Green Farm fresh milk products, Vinamilk 100% Organic, Fruit Love apple pomegranate juice, Vfresh Artichoke Tea and Southern Star condensed milk.

To be honored with the Superior Taste Award, Vinamilk products had to win over a jury of more than 200 professional and independent taste experts. These members come from prestigious chef and sommelier associations such as Le Guide Michelin, Gault & Millau and are all carefully selected based on their tasting experience.

The jury, consisting of chefs and experts, is completely blind to product information, except for the type, and does not communicate with each other during the tasting process. This is to ensure that the results are completely objective and independent. It is the impartiality, strict evaluation process and prestigious jury that have helped the Superior Taste Award, after nearly 20 years of its inception, become the leading award for product taste in the food and beverage industry and an honor for many brands around the world when being awarded prestigious stars.
