About 120km from Hanoi, Lan Ty valley (located in Huu Lien special-use forest, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province) is an attractive destination for tourists thanks to its beautiful, green and fresh landscape.

Previously, Hoang had participated in a parachute training course and maintained a daily routine of jogging and going to the gym, so he did not encounter many difficulties when experiencing activities that required good endurance and physical strength. In addition, the 23-year-old man also participated in a training course and practiced with safety equipment, learning the necessary skills for rappelling up and down and staying on the rope.
To reach the zipline position on the mountain top at an altitude of 500m above sea level, Hoang and the expedition team had to trek and climb a long distance with vertical slopes. After that, they continued to zipline from the top of the mountain down to the eye socket about 40m.

Although it took a lot of physical strength, he felt all his fatigue disappear when he finished conquering the high cliff. “The distance to move to the zipline position was quite difficult, but what I received was completely worth it. It was overcoming my own limits to conquer the height, admiring the beautiful panorama of the valley below that I had never known before,” Hoang said. The young man from Lang Son said that to have a safe trip with interesting experiences in Lan Ty valley, visitors should book a tour from reputable, professional units instead of traveling on their own. Throughout the journey of discovery here, he and other expedition members were closely followed and supported by safety experts, so they felt very secure. Hoang suggested that the ideal schedule for visitors to experience Lan Ty valley is 2 days 1 night.
When participating in abseiling activities, visitors always swing with 2 main ropes to ensure safety (one rope is controlled by the visitor, one rope is controlled by the safety assistant to support and ensure the safety of visitors).
When coming to Lan Ty valley, visitors should also pay attention to fully equipping necessary personal items for adventurous activities such as: specialized climbing shoes, clothes (should choose long-sleeved T-shirts that are cool and easy to move and light, quick-drying fabric pants), swimsuits, high socks, backpacks (preferably with a support belt to reduce the burden), sunscreen and medicine. "Visitors should only bring necessary items to reduce weight, making it easy to move throughout the journey. In addition, you should also pay attention to weather conditions and terrain to have the most appropriate preparation", Hoang emphasized.
Mr. Pham Van Manh, CEO of the unit operating and exploiting the abseiling tour of Mat Than mountain - Oc cave, said that the journey to explore Lan Ty valley is like an expedition. In particular, with the abseiling experience from the top of Mat Than mountain to the eye socket with a distance of about 40m, visitors have the feeling of floating in the air. Mr. Manh said that before swinging the rope, visitors will be instructed by professional guides on safety rules when participating in mountain climbing and abseiling activities as well as how to use safety equipment... When participating in the experience, at the point of changing ropes and operating the equipment, visitors are always closely guided and supported by safety assistants. 
According to Mr. Manh, Lan Ty valley has its own attractions at each time. If you come here from February to April, you can admire the scenery of many wild flowers blooming. At this time, the weather is also pleasant, sometimes a little chilly. From May to August, although it is summer, the weather in the valley is still cool, suitable for visitors to participate in water activities. This is also considered the most beautiful time of the year when the valley is flooded with water, creating a large blue lake hidden among the mountains and forests. In the dry season from September to November, this place becomes an ideal picnic destination and visitors can admire the golden ripe rice season, beautiful as a picture. 
In addition to activities such as mountain climbing, ziplining, camping, cave exploration, SUP, swimming... visitors here can also stay and explore the culture and daily life of ethnic minorities at Huu Lien Community Ecological Village or explore Khe Dau waterfall...
