Implement the process of introducing candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

On the afternoon of April 12, comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired conferences to implement the process of introducing candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term according to the 5-step process. Attending the conference were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.

Speaking at the conference of key officials of the province, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, thoroughly grasped the important purposes and requirements of the steps in the process of introducing candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

He emphasized: Personnel work is an extremely important content, which must be prepared carefully, closely, objectively, impartially, qualitatively, and in accordance with regulations. Based on the introduction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, based on Plan 253, delegates are requested to uphold their sense of responsibility, based on the purpose, requirements, and current situation of the staff, to consider and carefully research to introduce candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026. Candidates introduced for election must be absolutely loyal to the interests of the Party, the nation, the people and the people, have a firm stance, viewpoint, and political mettle; have pure moral qualities; an honest, modest, sincere, and simple lifestyle; have innovative thinking, practical capacity, grasp and understand the basic situation of reality to concretize and lead, direct, and effectively organize the implementation of the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the province's policies and laws.

Based on the results of the first meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, at the conference of key officials of the province, after approving the plan to implement the process of introducing candidates for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, delegates discussed the number, criteria, professional qualifications, political theory, age, professional capacity of candidates and conducted a secret ballot to introduce candidates.

Based on the results of the personnel introduction at the key staff conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee discussed and introduced personnel by secret ballot. Based on the structure, quantity according to regulations, standards, conditions and approved personnel work direction, the results of the personnel introduction at the Provincial Party Executive Committee conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee discussed and voted to introduce personnel to run for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 by secret ballot to submit to the competent authority for consideration and decision.
