This year, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan) was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to implement many projects from local industrial promotion funds.
The Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion has just informed that in the list of local industrial promotion projects in 2025 approved by the Provincial People's Committee, there is a project "Supporting the application of advanced machinery and equipment in cashew processing". The project aims to support businesses to invest in new shelling screens, machines and dryers in cashew processing lines to replace existing manual methods. Thereby contributing to improving productivity, saving labor, meeting market demand as well as helping businesses proactively source export goods during the cashew harvest season... In addition, there is also a project "Supporting the application of advanced machinery and equipment in the production of products from loofah" to support businesses to take advantage of locally available raw materials and create added value for loofah. According to the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, this project is aimed at diversifying products from loofah, creating environmentally friendly products and meeting market demand.
This year, the project "Organizing participation in the province's centralized booth to display, introduce and promote typical rural industrial products of the province at fairs and exhibitions" will be focused on by the functional unit. Through that, Binh Thuan's typical rural industrial products will be displayed and promoted at domestic fairs and exhibitions. Implementing this project also aims to enhance the introduction of the potential, advantageous products and characteristics of the southernmost coastal region of the Central region to domestic and foreign partners. Aiming to develop the domestic consumption market, seek export partners, combine investment calling and create opportunities for businesses to meet, exchange experiences, transfer technology, promote investment, economic cooperation, etc.
Notably, in the list of local industrial promotion projects in 2025, there is also the project "Learning experience in industrial promotion and industrial management, industrial clusters". The purpose is to organize learning experiences in this work to effectively implement in promoting infrastructure investment and attracting production and business establishments to industrial clusters. Continue to effectively support and promote market development, improve competitiveness and position for local enterprises. Based on practical research in a number of provinces and cities, functional units will advise and propose related contents for appropriate application in Binh Thuan... With the project "Organizing training courses to improve management capacity for industrial establishments in Binh Thuan province", 2 training courses will be organized to improve management capacity to provide leaders and employees of industrial production establishments with necessary knowledge and skills. In addition, it also supports improving production and business efficiency, consolidating and expanding the market, helping industrial establishments have a professional and modern management team suitable for current development trends.
Meanwhile, the project "Information and propaganda of the Industry and Trade sector of Binh Thuan province in 2025" continues to be implemented to introduce and promote the activities of the sector as well as convey the preferential policies and guidelines of the Central and local governments in related fields. At the same time, it focuses on promoting typical products of Binh Thuan and introducing the potential and advantages of attracting investment in the field of industry and trade... It is known that recently, the unit assigned to implement the industrial promotion project has informed associations, enterprises, production and business cooperatives, and rural industrial establishments in Binh Thuan to know and register to participate. Currently, the Department of Industry and Trade is also advising the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a Resolution regulating the content and level of support for industrial promotion activities in Binh Thuan. Immediately after the Resolution is issued, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion will coordinate to organize the implementation of projects in the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee.
