The members of the Association expressed their good feelings, especially towards Vietnam, highly appreciated the important visit to meet the Prime Minister and believed that the visit would be extremely successful; informed about the activities of the Association and its members to contribute to promoting cooperation and constantly strengthening the friendship between the two countries and peoples.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was delighted with the establishment and operation of the Association, showing his affection for Vietnam; impressed by the beautiful nature and the gentle and friendly people of New Zealand. According to the Prime Minister, the two countries, two nations, and people of the two countries have many similarities such as loving peace, being hospitable, emotional, sincere but taking decisive action.

Informing about the activities and results of the visit, the Prime Minister said he could clearly feel the "heart-to-heart" affection between the people of the two countries, and the high political trust between the two countries. The Prime Minister thanked the Friendship Association for organizing many practical activities, contributing positively to the results in the relationship between the two countries.
The friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and New Zealand has continuously developed strongly and become increasingly practical and effective in all fields, including many areas such as science and technology, education and training, innovation, circular economy, sharing economy, and knowledge economy.
During the exchange between the Prime Minister and the New Zealand senior leaders, the two sides reached a high level of agreement on the direction to promote bilateral relations in the coming time. The Prime Minister hoped to continue to effectively and substantially implement the agreements that have been reached. To do so, it is necessary to promote people-to-people exchanges and promote economic, trade and investment cooperation.
The Prime Minister hopes that the Association will continue to have practical activities and make many contributions to enhancing people-to-people exchanges between the two countries and consolidating and strengthening cooperation between the two countries, especially in 2025, the year marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 5th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership.

The Prime Minister suggested that the Association speak out to New Zealand agencies to have more favorable visa policies for Vietnamese people, promote labor cooperation; continue to facilitate the community of 15,000 Vietnamese people, including 6,000 students and workers, to develop and grow, and consider and recognize the Vietnamese community as an ethnic minority in the multi-ethnic and multi-cultural country of New Zealand.
The Prime Minister hopes that members of the Association will continue to support and help Vietnam, especially in sending Vietnamese students to study and research in New Zealand.
Appreciating the election of Vietnamese-origin MP Pham Thi Ngoc Lan, showing appreciation and no discrimination against Vietnamese people, the Prime Minister hopes that more Vietnamese-origin people will participate in leadership positions in New Zealand's state agencies.
Thanking the warm welcome, the Prime Minister invited the President of the Association and its members to visit Vietnam to reciprocate the warm and friendly feelings that the Association had for the Vietnamese delegation.
