The Ambassador said that, following the Prime Minister's instructions during his visit to the Embassy a year ago, the Embassy staff have made efforts to handle the work of the people as if it were their own.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his joy at revisiting the Embassy and meeting overseas Vietnamese during his third working trip to China in the past year, with the results of each trip being better than the previous one. He acknowledged that the Embassy has also made more efforts and attempts in the past year, contributing to the results of visits by high-ranking Vietnamese leaders to China.
According to the Prime Minister, with the great development achievements that China has made in recent times, China's current important position and role in the international arena, as well as with the Vietnam-China relationship, the mission of the Vietnamese Embassy in China is very honorable, proud and comes with a very high responsibility.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shares his affection with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in China.
The two sides reviewed the positive developments in the Vietnam-China bilateral relationship in recent times, especially after the historic visits of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to China (October 2022) and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to Vietnam (December 2023); agreed to continue to concretize high-level common perceptions, especially the Vietnam-China Joint Statement on continuing to deepen and elevate the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance in the direction of "6 more".
Over the past time, all levels, sectors and localities of the two countries have thoroughly grasped and implemented the agreements and common perceptions of the two General Secretaries, promoting the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future with strategic significance to make development more substantial, effective and sustainable.
Thanks to that, the relationship between the two countries has achieved good and comprehensive results. Political trust has been strengthened; many new cooperation mechanisms in important fields have been established; strategic connections, especially transport connections, have been accelerated; trade cooperation has grown rapidly; Chinese investment in Vietnam has increased sharply; tourism has recovered strongly; cooperation between localities and people-to-people exchanges have taken place vigorously...
The Prime Minister pointed out that in the coming time, all levels, sectors, localities and agencies need to continue to concretize and implement the agreements of the two countries' senior leaders, continuously review the work, organize the implementation well with innovative thinking, creative measures, the spirit of "what is said is done, what is committed is done, what is done must have results", implement the work with focus and key points, complete each work, avoid spreading out, prolonging, learning from experience while doing, gradually expanding, not being perfectionist, not being hasty.
Ministries, localities and embassies must proactively and actively coordinate and implement tasks according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers, and continue to make efforts to promote and develop Vietnam-China relations in a stable and sustainable manner.
In the immediate future, it is necessary to encourage China to continue opening its market to Vietnamese goods, especially expanding the list of key products that Vietnam has strengths in and that the Chinese market has high demand for, such as agricultural products and fruits; promoting transport connections, including three railway lines with China (Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong; Lang Son-Hanoi; Mong Cai-Ha Long-Hai Phong) and cooperation in areas where China has strengths and Vietnam has demand, such as science and technology, artificial intelligence, energy, digital economy, digital transformation, etc.
Informing overseas Vietnamese about the activities and results of the Vietnamese delegation attending the WEF Dalian Conference and the major features of the country's situation in recent times, the Prime Minister praised and hoped that the staff of the Embassy would continue to make efforts to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and Government, especially effectively implementing foreign political tasks, economic and cultural diplomacy, consular work and citizen protection, and work with overseas Vietnamese.
