Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that Seoul National University is a leading university in Asia and famous in the world - a symbol of high-quality education in Korea - a country with more than 70,000 Vietnamese students studying abroad. According to the Prime Minister, in the era of explosive development of science and technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, education and training, especially at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, is becoming increasingly important, playing a key role, having a decisive significance for the development of each country and nation. Referring to the Korean saying "Education is a hundred-year strategy", the Prime Minister said that Vietnam also pays special attention to education and training, clearly defining it as a top national policy, with a long-term strategic nature to improve people's knowledge, train human resources, and nurture talents. The Prime Minister also stated that labor cooperation has expanded with nearly 70,000 Vietnamese workers in Korea and is on the rise, with the labor quota increasing by 13% compared to 2023. Responding to the question of a professor from Seoul National University about solutions to improve national governance capacity, the Prime Minister emphasized three issues.
