Prime Minister encourages Vietnam U17 team before 'final' match against UAE U17

In the letter, the Prime Minister praised the resilient fighting spirit of the Vietnam U17 team when they excellently won important points against strong continental teams, U17 Australia and current Asian champion U17 Japan.

"This is a very impressive result, demonstrating the continuous efforts, solidarity, enthusiasm and brave hearts, determination not to retreat in the face of difficulties and always giving their all for the national U17 team's colors and flag," the Prime Minister wrote.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the important role of the coaching staff, players, support staff and those accompanying the team, especially the tactical guidance of head coach Cristiano Roland. These positive results have opened up great opportunities at the AFC U17 Championship finals and also the 2025 FIFA U17 World Cup qualifiers.

Before the important match with U17 UAE tonight, the Prime Minister expressed his belief that the coaching staff and players will prepare well, have appropriate tactical plans, compete with the highest concentration and determination, with "a warm heart, a cool head", unite to achieve the best results, affirming the development of Vietnamese football in particular and regional football in general; at the same time opening up many development opportunities for the country's football in the coming time.
