On the side of Dong Nai province, there were Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, leaders of departments, branches, localities and provincial leaders of different periods; along with 20 diplomatic representative agencies, business associations and nearly 450 delegates representing domestic and foreign enterprises.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong announced the Decision approving the Dong Nai Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. At the same time, he announced the plan to implement the Dong Nai Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

After the announcement by the leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the Decision approving the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, to Dong Nai province.

Previously, on July 3, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision 586/QD-TTg approving the planning of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

According to Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc: A good quality planning will exploit and promote the potential and strengths of the locality, helping the province have the fastest and most effective path to achieve the set goals.

Provincial planning is a very important task, we must take advantage of this opportunity to allocate development space, remove bottlenecks, create new development momentum, and combine the implementation of 5 strategic breakthroughs, including: effectively exploiting Long Thanh International Airport; completing a synchronous and modern infrastructure framework; building green industrial parks, reducing carbon emissions, attracting investment in modern industrial projects with high added value; building a center for innovation, digital transformation, developing education and training complexes; implementing high-class urban, tourism and resort service projects.

According to Dong Nai province's planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Dong Nai's development perspective is "Promoting the province's potential, strengths, and competitive advantages, taking Long Thanh airport area and Dong Nai river as a highlight and new driving force for breakthrough development".

Also according to the planning content, by 2030, the locality will become a civilized, modern, highly developed province, surpassing the high income threshold in the top group of the country.

By 2050, Dong Nai strives to become a centrally-governed city, a pioneer in developing high-tech industry, with a synchronous, smart, and modern infrastructure system; a center of international trade, tourism, and services associated with world-class urban areas, a place where intellectuals and talents gather, focusing on green economy and circular economy, and achieving the goal of net emissions of "0".

Social fields develop harmoniously; people have prosperous and happy lives. National defense, security, and social order and safety are firmly guaranteed.
